The 41st Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Oba Saliu Adetunji was today presented with the staff of office in the presence of thousands of Ibadan indigenes and against who came from far and near by the Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi.

The coronation which took place at the ancient Mapo hall was witnessed by several kings in Yoruba land and also from the northern part of the country.

Present at the coronation are first class kings in Nigeria including the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Enitan Ogunwusi, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi; the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar IV; Emir of Ilorin; Oba of Lagos, Riliwan Akiolu; Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo and other kings.

Governors present here are governor Akinwumi Ambode of Lagos state, Rauf Aregbesola of Osun state and the host governor, Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state.

Also present here is the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; popular pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church, S.K Abira; popular spiritualist, St. Gurumaragi.
