– Keshi rues House of Reps recall of Sunday Oliseh
– Wants the lawmakers to summon all previous coaches of the senior national team as well
Former Super Eagles team coach Stephen Keshi has slammed the National Assembly for summoning former coach Sunday Oliseh, saying it will add no value to Nigerian football and sports.
Oliseh who resigned as the national team coach is billed to appear before the House of Representatives committee on sports to discuss among other things, his resignation.

Speaking through his manager, Emmanuel Addo, Keshi said: “It would be unfair to other previous managers of the national team if Sunday Oliseh who resigned his position was summoned; so why the special interest in him,” Keshi reasoned.
The former Togolese and Malian national team coach explained that he too should be called to explain the circumstances that led to his sack, as well as former coaches Adegboyega Onigbinde, through Christian Chukwu, Shuaibu Amodu and Austin Eguavoen.
“I might be mourning the exit of my life partner but the fact remains that Nigerian football is being unduly distracted and the only way to get it back on track is to ask the real stake-holders to come together and talk whether they are coaches, ex-internationals or sports politicians, it’s about time to talk and talk seriously,” he concluded.
Sunday Oliseh resigned at the end of February citing a breach of contract on the part of the NFF.
The controversial coach who had blasted his critics took to his official Twitter handle to announce his resignation, citing unpaid salaries, lack of cooperation, among other factors, as responsible for his action.
