– A pension has made a personally huge contribution to Buhari’s anti-graft campaign.
– She made the contribution due to her deeply held faith in the president’s administration.
– She has also pledged to provide monthly support to IDPs fleeing the terror of Boko Haram.
A pensioner, identified as Mrs Rose Julius, has donated N10,000 to support President Muhammadu Buhari administration’s war against graft.
According to a statement signed by Mr Abiodun Oladunjoye on behalf of the president’s adviser on media and publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the pensioner presented the donation to Adesina in lieu of the president.

Julius, who formerly worked as a cleaner for Lagos University Teaching Hospital, was said to have also promised to contribute N1,000 every month out of her N10,000 per month pension towards the rehabilitation of internally displaced persons.
She said that she was making the donation because she was convinced that Buhari is a tested man of integrity who can be trusted to restore the lost glory of Nigeria and drastically curb corruption in the country.

The pensioner also commended the president’s efforts to end the Boko Haram insurgency and rehabilitate IDPs.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the President, Adesina thanked Julius for her faith in the Buhari administration.
“We have a pact with Nigerians to change things for the better and we are on the right track. President Buhari and his team are working tirelessly to revamp the economy, combat terrorism and curb corruption,” Adesina said.
Buhari is determined to wipe out corruption in Nigeria
President Buhari secured his position thanks to his public image as a staunch anti-corruption campaigner and he has since made fighting graft in Nigeria one of his main priorities.
However the president will continue to fave an uphill battle as Nigerian remains one of the most corrupt nations on earth according to the most recent Transparency International corruption index.
