Reports say two prostitutes fighting over a client ended up fighting and have been arrested by officers of the Nigerian police.
PM News reports that one of the pair, Blessing Ani, was arrested and charged before an Apapa Magistrates’ court for allegedly biting off her colleague’s lip during a fight over a client.
The incident which occurred an a popular unnamed Lagos hotel along the railway in Ijora area of the state where they regular ‘lurk’ for their prospective customers.
The 30-year-old Ani was said to have engaged her colleague, Robert Doris in a fight after the latter reportedly stole her customer.
Ani was said to have confronted Doris who insisted that Doris should have called her to inform her that her client was around rather than ‘staying’ with him.
But Doris responded by saying that her colleague had no monopoly over any client, especially in sex business, this it was gathered, did not go down well Ani, who allegedly moved to start up a fight with Doris and bit off one of her lips.
PM News gathered further that Doris’s lip fell off and she was quickly rushed to a hospital where it was disclosed that the part could not be stitched back.
The matter was subsequently reported at the police in Ijora Badia after which Ani was arrested and charged to court with assault under the Criminal Code.
After pleading ‘Not Guilty’, the presiding Magistrate, Mr M.A Etti, granted Ani bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case till March 10, while Ani was remanded in prison custody.
