Portugese giants Benfica are through to the quarter final of this season’s Uefa Champions League (UCL). The team defeated Zenit St. Petersburg 2 – 1 in a very pulsating affair in Petrovsky.

The first half of second leg was keenly contested as both teams played with much tactics and caution. However, Zenit came out blazing in the second half and their efforts paid-off as Brazilian striker Hulk headed home to put his side ahead and the aggregate score at 1 – 1 in the 69th minute.
