Super Eagles interim coach, Samson Siasia is confident of victory against Egypt in an AFCON 2017 qualifiers double header which will be played later this month.

The newly appointed interim coach said victory will be Nigeria’s if the players play to instructions.
The coach also suggested that he was buoyed by the support he has received from players he invited for the double header stating their willingness to work for him.
Siasia Speaking in Abuja ahead of the resumption of camp Siasia said: “I have spoken to the likes of Mikel, Moses, Odion, Iheanacho and others; they are all ready to play. They said: “Coach, we are coming to do it and play for you,” which is a good assurance. So, we want to go out there with a positive mind to make sure that we put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.”

He added: “I am going to give over a 100 per cent of my time to make sure that we win those two games. I am full of confidence and, as long as the boys play to instruction, we do not have anything to worry about.”
Siasia insisted that the first leg home advantage of Nigeria would come in handy against the seven time African champions.
“We are playing at home and we must make sure that we win at home, no matter what it takes us. Egypt can’t beat us, I assure you that. So, there is no need for panic,” he said.
Egypt are top of the qualifying group with maximum six points, two ahead of Nigeria after two rounds of matches.
Nigeria host Egypt in Kaduna on March 25 and visit the Pharaohs in Alexandria on March 29.
